Sound familiar?

❌ Your kicks disappear completely in the drop.
❌ Vocals sound thin or don’t cut through the mix.
❌ The bass lacks power on club or car systems.
❌ The arrangement feels muddy or unbalanced.
❌ The track sounds different on every speaker.

Gianluca Santoriello — sound with precision

Electronic music needs power, clarity — and emotion. Mixing is about tight drops, punchy kicks, and wide leads, but it also takes sensitivity in the arrangement and a feel for the energy flow.

Based within the legendary Best Sound Studio complex in Milan, Gianluca works with a hybrid analog/digital signal chain calibrated specifically for electronic music post-production. Every project is handled individually — no templates, no generic processing.

What you can expect:
– Genre expertise from Benny Benassi, Mathame, Rafael Cerato, and more
– Direct communication — no middle-man, no account managers
– A clean balance of punch, width, and precision

Mixing — FAQ

What is the difference between Full Mix and Stem Mastering?

Full Mix starts from every individual raw track in your session — no pre-grouping, no pre-processing. This gives us complete control over the balance, dynamics, and tone of each element. Stem Mastering (approx. 5–8 stems) is better suited for productions that are already 80–90% there. If your track needs a complete rebuild from the ground up, Full Mix is the right choice.

How do I prepare my files?

Export every track individually as WAV, 24-bit or 32-bit float, at your project’s native sample rate (44.1kHz or higher). Bypass all processing on the Master Bus — no limiting, no bus compression. Individual channel processing (synth patches, drum bus saturation) can remain in place. Organize your files clearly and compress them into a single .zip folder.

What should I include in the brief?

A rough mix of your track (even an unmastered bounce), 1–2 reference tracks in lossless format, and a short note covering: target genre and energy, any specific tonal or spatial direction, and elements you want prioritized.

How do revisions work?

Three revision rounds are included in the service fee. After each delivery, you provide written feedback and we adjust accordingly. Revisions are technical in scope — level adjustments, tonal corrections, FX automation, spatial changes. Structural production changes fall outside the revision scope and are quoted separately.

What file formats are delivered?

Standard delivery includes WAV files in 96kHz, 48kHz, and 44.1kHz at 24-bit. Apple Digital Master formatting is available upon request at no extra cost.

Is express delivery available?

Yes. Express Delivery guarantees the first version of your mix within 72 hours of receiving the files and payment confirmation. The surcharge is €175. This option is available subject to current scheduling.

What genres do you work with?

Our primary focus is electronic music — Techno, House, Tech-House, Melodic Techno, EDM, and related subgenres. The signal chain and monitoring setup are calibrated for the demands of club-oriented music: sub-bass translation, transient punch, and high-SPL headroom.

What is particularly important when mixing EDM?

A solid low end, clean mids, and punchy vocals are essential. The kick and bass must be clearly separated to make the track translate well on both club systems and streaming platforms. Sidechain compression, stereo width management below 100Hz, and arrangement balance are all critical.
